Dungarvan Hillwalking Club is delighted to organise this annual event, with four different levels of walking, as follows:
- Comeragh Challenge (45km, ascent ≈ 2000m)*
- Comeragh Crossing (35km, ascent ≈ 1250m)**
- Nire Valley Walk (20km, ascent ≈ 900m)**
- Kilbrien Walk (12km, ascent ≈ 300m)**
Registration is online. Check-in and finish is at the Kilgobinet Sports Centre, X35 DX23 with transport to the walk start and a hot meal included in the entry fee.
All walks visit the top of Cruachán with beautiful views of Dungarvan and the bay. Participants, by taking part are contributing to the chosen charities: South Eastern Mountain Rescue, Waterford Hospice, and Dungarvan Lions Club.
