Have you undertaken and logged at least 10 varied walks in lowland terrain where the use of a map is required OR have you attended a walking and navigation personal skills training course recognised by Mountaineering Ireland?

Please give name and contact details of someone who is willing and able to vouch for the above and your experience to attend the training

You must be at least 17 years old to register and train. (You must be 18 years old for assessment.)

Please note that there is no paper log book for this award and all walks can be logged on your digital log which is linked to your personal profile. Please contact Mountaineering Ireland (01 6251112) with any queries

Please confirm 'yes' that you give consent for your data to be shared with MTUKI and Sport Ireland Coaching (Formerly Coaching Ireland). Please be aware that by registering for this award, key data including your personal, registration, training and assessment details will be shared with Mountain Training UK & Ireland and Sport Ireland Coaching (Formerly Coaching Ireland). Data is shared for the purpose of facilitating seamless candidate training between the Republic of Ireland and the UK and for maintaining current training data within the island of Ireland. All data sharing and storage will be in accordance with the relevant Data Protection protocols and legislation.
