The 2015 Annual Review outlines the work of Mountaineering Ireland during the course of the year.

The contributions of many members made 2015 a memorable year for Mountaineering Ireland.

The Annual Review 2015 can be downloaded below but some of the reported actions and activities include:

• The launch of the Youth Alpine Initiative; 
• Continued progress towards an all-island training board;
• Development of online digital log facility for all members;
• Development of online course reporting facility for leadership awards;
• Workshops for Club Environmental Officers and Club Training Officers;
• Publication of ‘From Rocks to Ridges’ leaflet;
• Continued work on Helping the Hills with several path surveys undertaken;
• Junior and Senior Bouldering Championships and Lead Climbing Championship;
• Youth Climbing Camps around the country;
• Consolidation of Talent Development Squad for young climbers;
• Launch of Irish Leading League Competition;
• Spring and Autumn Gatherings, Scottish Winter Meet, Summer Alpine Meet and Women With Altitude event;
• Roll out of a new series of skills videos;
• Growth and development of Get Ireland Walking programme;
• and lots more!
