The 2014 Annual Review outlines the work of Mountaineering Ireland during the course of the year.

The contributions of many members made 2014 a memorable year for Mountaineering Ireland. The Annual Review 2014 can be downloaded below but some of the reported actions and activities include:
  • Mountaineering Ireland joined Comhairle na Tuaithe’s Mountain Access Steering Group;  
  • Action continued under the Helping the Hills initiative;
  • Publication of Walking With Wildlife leaflet Northern Ireland’s uplands with further funding secured for further publications;
  • Club Environmental Officers' Workshops;
  • Progress towards an all-island training board;
  • Roll out of a series of skills videos;
  • Mountaineering Ireland hosted Club Training Officers Workshops, Skills workshops, etc;
  • Climbing Wall Leading  Award and Level 1 Climbing Coach Award rolled out;
  • Mountaineering Ireland consulted with membership and made numerous submissions;
  • Spring and Autumn Gatherings, Winter, Fair Head and Summer Meets;
  • Youth Climbing Series, IBL, Lead and Bouldering Championships;
  • Youth Alpine Initiative;
  • New Injury Prevention Group;
  • Continued development of the online membership management system and website;
  • Club tutorial videos rolled out:
