Mountain Training Consultation Forum

Date: 26/03/2019

By attending the forum, there is an opportunity to meet the members of Mountain Training Board Ireland, Mountaineering Ireland members and non members. We are organising four regional consultation   forums  in which ideas and discussions can be facilitated to generate and share ideas on and around the formal and informal training needs of hillwalkers, mountaineers and climbers.

There will be an introduction to the Training Board, the role of the Mountaineering Ireland Training Officer and the strategic development plan. These meetings will provide opportunity for questions and suggestions on how Mountaineering Ireland can meet training demands to promote safe, enjoyable and responsible recreation in the mountains and crags. There will be a session to draw out your opinions, thoughts, ideas & comments to help steer the way forward.

The Consultation Forums will take place as follows:

•04/03/2019 at 7.30-9.30pm in Larch Hill Scout Centre, Tibradden, Dublin 16

•12/03/2019 at 7.00-9.00pm in Menlo Park Hotel, Galway

•26/03/2019 at 7.30-9.30pm in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Offices, Unit 4, Lower Ground Floor, Forest Grove Business Park, Newtownbreda Road, Belfast
