IMC Presentation - Mount Kailash, Tibet's 'Sacred Mountain' by Patrick O'Sullivan

On 28th February Patrick O’Sullivan (Editor, Irish Mountain Log) will be in the Teachers Club to give a presentation called ‘Trekking around Mount Kailash, Tibet's 'Sacred Mountain'’

Patrick first visited Tibet 25 years ago. He returned in 2015 to attempt the Kailash Kora, the pilgrim's route around Mount Kailash (6638m). The mountain is located in the far west of Tibet, 1200km from Lhasa. The trek around Mount Kailash goes over a pass at 5630m. The talk will describe the journey through Tibet to Mount Kailash and the trek around the mountain.
