Mountain Log Summer 2025

MOUNTAIN LOG HILLWALKING 88 Participants will learn essential skills such as route planning, map reading, basic navigation, safety in the hills and how to handle changing weather conditions. The sessions also cover gear choice, what to do in an emergency and how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. The Hill Skills sessions will take place in several counties, including Clare, Cork, Donegal, Down, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Tipperary, Mayo, Sligo, Waterford and Wicklow, making it accessible to hikers from around the country. Each day will be led by experienced and qualified instructors, with plenty of hands-on practice on the hills to share.
