109 MOVING UP TOGETHER Celebrating an inclusive climbing collaboration Over the past few weeks, Mountaineering Ireland has had the joy of delivering another great climbing programme in partnership with the Down Syndrome Centre in Swords, Co Dublin and Awesome Walls Dublin. This collaboration was all about breaking barriers, encouraging personal growth and fostering a love for climbing in a supportive, inclusive environment – and what an experience it’s been! From day one, young climbers brought boundless enthusiasm, determination and courage to the climbing wall. Each session saw them building new skills, growing in confidence and discovering just how strong, capable and adventurous they truly are. Their progress has been nothing short of inspiring. A huge shout-out to the team at Awesome Walls Dublin, whose warmth, energy and experience created a fun and welcoming space for all. Their passion for climbing and inclusive spirit made each session not only fun but empowering for everyone involved. Pictured this page: The group at Awesome Walls Dublin.
