MOUNTAIN LOG PERFORMANCE 104 Whilst the U19 and Senior competitions were run to IFSC format, the youth competitors tested themselves across 20 boulders of varying degrees of difficulty. The competitions were fiercely contested and had spectators holding their breath with anticipation and gasping at the high levels of performance. Prizes were provided by Captain Fingerfood and Black Diamond, and the stylish new medals for 2025 proudly display Mountaineering Ireland’s new logo. The competition was held on the 7th and 8th of June, with qualifiers and finals on the Saturday for U13, U15 and U17, and for U19 and Seniors on the Sunday. New to these championships was the sophisticated online scoring and results system, Vertical Life.
