The Mountaineering Ireland Summer Alpine Meet took place in Ailefroide from 03 - 18 July. The Meet was a huge success, with members from throughout the island of Ireland present and enjoying and challenging themselves in the Alpine environment.

Over the course of the 2 weeks almost 70 MI members (plus a couple of BMC and MCoS members) reached the highest peaks, walked in the glacial valleys, completed various workshops and/or learned new skills on the various Alpine courses offered. In particular, the full day and half day workshops proved to be a huge success.
