The North Face 'Shop in Shop' arrives in Dundrum

Lovers of the outdoors, extreme sportsmen and followers of celebrity fashionistas alike will all rejoice to hear about Dublin’s latest shopping experience.

Located within Snow+Rock’s 14,600 square foot Superstore at Dundrum shopping centre and retail park, the North Face’s Shop in Shop will offer a wide selection of authentic outdoor apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories.

Situated 5 miles south of Dublin city centre, the Shop in Shop will launch with a broad selection of products from the Spring 2009 Collection.

The collection will incorporate items from the Performance Collection – including the Trajectory Jacket, a performance fit jacket that allows athletes to stay on course, without getting waylaid by weather - and the Summit Series™ range, both of which embody the adventurous and athletic soul of The North Face® brand.

The North Face, a division of VF Outdoor, Inc., was founded in 1968. Headquartered in San Leandro, California, the company offers the most technically advanced products in the market to accomplished climbers, mountaineers, snowsport athletes, endurance athletes, and explorers. The company's products are sold in specialty mountaineering, backpacking, running, and snowsport retailers, premium-sporting goods retailers and major outdoor specialty retail chains.  Additional information about The North Face® can be found on the company's website, www.thenorthface.com

Snow+Rock opened it's first ever store outside the UK, in Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin last October (2008). They have been the UK's number 1 snowsports retailer since first opening in Kensington in 1982 and they now have 18 stores across the UK and Ireland, along with a 24 hour mail order service at www.snowandrock.com
